TCST has been examining the way that SL systems are serviced and maintained. Typically, it is a "time based" methodology - e.g. every few months (whether the system requires any service or not!)

Now, for users of SL systems running Buildstation™ 5.x*, a whole new approach is available. By analyzing system log files, TCST can make accurate predictions about the state of the scanning mirrors, UV laser, heating system etc. and provide service when the system requires it - before adverse effects are seen on the parts.

Using this approach, owners and users can better predict & plan downtime for their systems and prevent wastage & incorrectly built parts.

For a limited time, TCST is offering a promotional package which consists of a Six Month Package of SL System Monitoring: TCST will analyze log files from the customer's SL system(s) and provide a bi-monthly report highlighting system performance, possible degradation and areas of concern. This will provide the customer with a blueprint to enable their service provider (whether it be TCST or any other organization) to better optimize their SL system(s).

Coupled with this, customers can order a package that includes a service visit from TCST to optimize their system(s). TCST can also train customers in a number of self-maintenance techniques based on the findings from the log files.

The cost of this package is $785 per system for just the monitoring or $1,790 + travel expenses for monitoring and one optimization visit (does not include parts).
