TCST announces a Full-Function Solid-State Laser Upgrade for SLA®500 Systems Friday, Aug. 27th, 2010 Stevenson Ranch, California |

| Total C S Team, Inc. (TCST) Announces a new fully controllable option for Advance Optowave's Solid-State laser upgrade for the SLA500 | ||||
| New Upgrade returns power control to SLA500s | ||||
| All previously available solid-state upgrades for SLA500 systems have had one major drawback - they do not allow control over laser power as with the old gas laser. |

This means that the laser has to be set to one power and the software, which is expecting to be able to control laser power, has to compensate. As a result parts are often drawn using a compromised scan speed which could affect part properties and machine throughput. |

However, a recent upgrade for the Advanced Optowave solid-state laser upgrade enables full software control over laser power during a build. The upgrade is available as an option for new systems or as a field-upgrade for currently installed units. Additional advantages of the Advanced Optowave upgrade are new custom-designed optics to focus and align the laser, reduced power loss through the optics, longer laser life and better quality beam size & shape. "This new upgrade will enable users of the SLA500's to return to full control over the laser power as with the old gas laser and will return the SLA500 to a position of being able to compete with newer SL systems." said Andrew Graves, CTO of Total C S Team, Inc. TCST also sells A-Wave solid-state laser upgrades for SLA250 systems. About Total C S Team, Inc. |
