The laser from Advanced Optowave improves on currently available systems in that the laser head sits on the optics plate, thus bypassing the original alignment "periscope".

Additionally, the upgrade utilizes new custom-designed optics to focus and align the laser.

These two innovations reduce power losses and also enable the laser to focus down to a beam diameter of 0.008" if required. The diameter can be set to any size from 0.008" to 0.012".
